Tapping into your Summer Spirit

Summer energy is the ‘Shen” and is held in the Heart. Let’s begin by activating your Summer Soul House. Go from nowhere in life to knowhere in life.


Fire Element: houses the ‘Shen’ The Fire Element thrives in Summer. This is the second in a series of seasonal methods that can be thought of as acupressure for the Soul. It is a physical way to refocus our life and reactivate participation in destiny. A clear Soul always feels home in its body regardless of the individual's location. Our bodies are the physical expression of our Souls, let's take them home by clearing our Souls.


The ‘Shen’ is the spirit of “The Mind” and represents your consciousness and identity. It is the source from which all other spirits emerge from. It is essential for integrating physical and emotional life in the world around you. The Mind bridges our intuition and inspiration. It allows you to recognize your calling so that you can show up in this world as your most authentic self. It brings deep connection to your ancestral and astral energy.





Assembly of Ancestors (TW 7) Xi-Cleft (accumulation point) of the Triple Warmer Channel. This meridian soothes the Liver. Massage these points.


Location: On the posterior forearm, between the radius and ulna, approx. 3 inches (width of palm) up from the wrist crease a little closer to the pinky side of the space - the point may be slightly tender.






PC6 Inner Frontier Gate It is a gate that protects the inner depths of your Heart. On a spiritual level, our Heart is a sacred place and its main job is to shine our Truth. ‘Wearing your Heart on your sleeve’ allows the gate to be wide open and vulnerable to being hurt. On the other hand, when someone is ‘cold hearted’, that gate is closed and doesn’t let anything in or out. Emotional trauma can get the Gate to be stuck closed. This point can balance the appropriate time to be open or closed. Regulating your boundaries gives access to the depth and beauty of the Heart.


Location: On the inside of the forearm, 2 cun proximal (towards your body) to the wrist crease between the tendons of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis. These 2 tendons tense when you make a tight fist. Using your finger to slowly apply pressure to the point. Slowly increase your pressure on the point and add movement. Oil the Gate to strengthen appropriate boundaries.
